Returning to Via Giuseppe Orlandi keep going downhill to reach the Church of St. Sophia, the main religious building of Anacapri.
Built in the sixteenth century on the site of the ancient parish of St. Mary of Constantinople, the church of Hagia Sophia is characterized by a barrel vault (recently restored) and the nave and the façade of the baroque style which partly hides the 'ancient bell tower completed in the eighteenth century.
